About

I'm a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Dotcom-Monitor, where I run 24/7 synthetic and real-user monitoring across websites, web applications, APIs and cloud infrastructure. I also support Phone Number Monitoring, Dotcom-Monitor's sister product, which focuses on phone-line uptime and IVR testing for contact centers.

My day-to-day is about detecting failures before customers do — and then explaining, in plain language, what broke and why. Across both products that means synthetic monitoring, real browser testing, API observability, DTMF and voice-prompt validation, MOS call-quality scoring, and the alerting and incident workflows that sit on top of all of it.

I write about the craft of monitoring the things businesses depend on: web stacks, APIs, and the phone systems that still quietly carry a lot of customer-facing revenue.
